Zyna Search approached Kemoso, a black-owned web design company in South Africa, to address their lack of visibility for diversity-focused services. The primary pain points included an absent professional online presence and insufficient marketing collateral, which hindered their ability to attract clients searching for “placing Black and ethnically diverse talent in senior roles London” or similar terms in the US and UK markets.

Kemoso delivered a comprehensive branding and website project from October 2022 to January 2023. Our team—comprising a graphic designer, project manager, website designer, and copywriter—provided responsive web design, SEO optimized for diversity recruitment keywords, logo design, business card design, letterhead design, and a company brochure. Using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and a PHP-based CMS with HTML & CSS, we created a sleek, user-friendly site that appeals to international audiences.

Key strategies included on-page SEO to improve search rankings for terms like “diversity advisory consultancy.” An innovative approach was incorporating a homepage video of ink mixing in water, symbolizing the seamless integration of Black professionals into traditionally white-dominated spaces—culturally sensitive and resonant for US, UK, and global viewers. Collaboration involved almost weekly meetings to ensure alignment, overcoming hosting challenges with a London-based provider to launch successfully.

The results? Designs were approved and delivered to high-quality standards, leading to increased visibility on search engines. Long-term, this has positioned Zyna Search as a go-to for diverse executive recruitment services, enhancing their appeal in competitive markets.
